Terms & Conditions

MewaSpices B2B Wholesale Platform · Effective & Last Updated: September 4, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between MewaSpices ("we", "us", or "our") and you (whether as a Trade Buyer / Retailer or a Brand Seller / Vendor). By registering an account, verifying credentials, accessing wholesale catalogs, or placing/fulfilling orders on https://mewaspices.in, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Platform & Eligibility

MewaSpices is a specialized B2B (Business-to-Business) electronic trade counter connecting verified agricultural processors, spices millers, and dry fruits brand manufacturers ("Sellers") with retail merchants, Kirana shopkeepers, institutional buyers, and food business operators ("Buyers").

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be a legally recognized business entity, sole proprietorship, partnership, LLP, or registered company in India.
  • The platform is strictly prohibited for consumer retail purchases or personal non-commercial use.
  • All users must possess valid commercial identification (such as GSTIN, PAN, FSSAI, or local trade establishment proofs).

2. Buyer (Retailer / Kirana) Terms

By registering as a Retailer / Buyer on MewaSpices, you agree to the following terms:

  • Free Trade Registration: Registration is free for genuine retailers. Access to wholesale tiers, quantity slab rates, and invoice generation requires completion of business verification and KYC submission.
  • Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ): All orders are subject to commodity-specific wholesale lot minimums (e.g., standard master cartons, 10kg/25kg bags) designated in the trade catalog.
  • Inspection upon Delivery: The buyer is required to inspect outer consignment seals upon delivery. Any transport damage or tampering must be recorded with the delivery partner immediately prior to OTP sharing.
  • Delivery OTP Authorization: Sharing the delivery OTP with the dispatch courier constitutes definitive legal proof that the consignment was received in full and accepted.

3. Seller (Vendor / Brand) Terms

By registering as a Brand Seller / Vendor on MewaSpices, you agree to the following terms:

  • Verification & Activation: Sellers must submit verified GSTIN, FSSAI food license, PAN, and active bank account proofs. A one-time ₹499 non-refundable onboarding fee covers KYC authentication, warehouse pickup courier integration, and catalog activation.
  • Commodity Standards & Quality: Sellers warrant that all dry fruits, spices, and commodities dispatched match listed grades, moisture limits, count-per-ounce, and statutory FSSAI food safety regulations. Adulterated or substandard goods result in immediate account suspension and financial liability.
  • Dispatch SLA: Sellers must pack and hand over confirmed orders to our integrated logistics partners (e.g., Shiprocket/Delhivery) within the agreed dispatch window (typically 24 to 48 hours).
  • Settlement & Payouts: Trade sales proceeds are credited to the seller's registered bank account via automated payout cycles after successful delivery confirmation and clearance of return windows, net of applicable platform facilitation fees and statutory TDS/TCS.

4. Pricing, GST Invoicing & Trade Credit

All wholesale quotes and item prices are displayed transparently on the platform with applicable GST slabs (5%, 12%, or 18% based on HSN commodity classification).

GST Tax Invoices

Every order generates a statutory tax invoice compliant with Indian GST laws, enabling registered buyers to claim input tax credit (ITC).

Trade Credit Terms

Approved buyers granted trade credit lines must settle invoices strictly within their assigned repayment terms (e.g., 7, 15, or 30 days). Overdue accounts accrue interest and forfeit credit privileges.

5. Returns, Replacements & Claims

Given the perishable and commodity nature of food items, spices, and dry fruits, returns are governed by strict commercial guidelines:

  • Claims for physical transit damage or packaging rupture must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • Claims for grade mismatch or quality variance must be supported by unopened master carton batch seals and lot numbers.
  • Products that have been repacked, blended, altered, or stored in improper climatic conditions cannot be claimed or returned.
  • Approved returns will be resolved via item replacement or credit note adjustment to the buyer's trade balance.

6. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Amendments

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or transactions conducted on the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.

MewaSpices reserves the right to modify these Terms periodically to reflect legislative updates, commercial market protocols, or platform enhancements. Notice of significant amendments will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
